SCHEDULING UPDATE!

Our regional promotional managers are hard at work scheduling for our Winter Mini-Tour.  Most of the dates are not finalized yet, and therefore cannot yet be released.  However, we have just received word that the Hot Shots Gig sponsored by the Connellsville District Youth Council has been moved to the weekend of March 6th and March 7th 2009.  We are planning to still be at the event.  We appologise for any inconviences this may cause you.  More information about the Winter Mini-Tour is coming soon.

Performances are currently planned for the folowing locations…

• Mt. Pleasant, PA
• North Huntingdon, PA
• Somerset, PA
• And other To Be Announced locations

Post-Practice Wrap-Up

As many of our faithful fans are aware (Thank You! by the way) the band met on Saturday for a practice at the RBFmedia Studios.  Since we live about an hour apart, we cannot meet as often as we would like.  However, with online video chats and meetings, we can make this burden easier.  We went into this practice thinking we would get some songs practiced for our upcoming tour (which did happen) and possibly record the final master of our first single (which didn’t happen).  As those who follow us on Twitter and iRBF know, our cheap connector cables were picking up ESPN Radio instead of our recording.  Needless to say, we didn’t get In the Darkness recorded.  However, we did manage to get some recordings for a possible guest drummer who will be with us during the Winter Tour.  We also discussed some of the following issues…

• T-Shirts:  Nate and Brittani will be sending their drafts for the shirts to the studio this week.  We will then work on them and hopefully get them out sometime this week.
• Weekend Update:  We discussed sending the Weekend Updates via the ReverbNation fan email service.  We decided this is a good idea.  We will still post official announcements via the blog, but “rumors” and unofficial news will be delivered via this service as well as special offers.  You can subscribe by going to iRBF and entering your email into the “widget” located near the chat box.  You can unsubscribe whenever you like, so what do you have to loose?
• Christmas Special:  The staff at the RBFmedia Studios (AKA: Joel) will be decorating the studio this week in preparation for a possible Christmas special to be recorded there later this month.
• Single Release:  Nate wondered if we should have a permanent drummer before we release the single.  Leave your thoughts in the comments, we might have a poll later to find out your opinion.
• RBFmedia Magazine:  The RBFmedia Staff Members are working on the December issue of In the Darkness: The Official RBFmedia Magazine.  This issue will feature Christmas Gift Ideas, articles, and updates on the status of our projects.

• THIS JUST IN: The Refined by Fire Project will be traveling to the RBFmedia Studios this Saturday for a practice and a possible recording session.  Live updates will be available on our twitter feed which can be found at www.irbf.tk
• Designs are being drafted for the T-Shirts and we are getting the store ready.  You can expect a release in time for Christmas shopping.  We may or may not have these shirts available during the tour.  MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE T-SHIRT DESIGN IS COMING TOMORROW.
• You too can help RBF increase our fan base!  Sign up for our street team at iRBF and tell all your friends about RBF and help get us to tour in your area!
• We are actively scheduling gigs for our Winter tour in Western Pennsylvania.  One gig has been finalized for February.  More are coming soon.  Complete schedule at iRBF

It’s that time of the week again!  WEEKEND UPDATE FRIDAY!

• November’s Visitor Statistics have been one for the history books here at RBF.  We have so far reached a record of 1000 hits this month alone! Our totals now reach over 2,300 since June 2008, 92 posts, 45 comments, and our busiest day was 508 hits on Sunday, November 16, 2008!  Thank you to our promotional team and the RBFmedia Studios for making this happen.  We’re setting our sights even higher for December and 2009!  ReverbNation currently shows 36 registered fans.  Make sure you’re counted!  Head over to iRBF to sign up for our mailing list and make your status as a fan known. (NOTE: We do not share gathered emails or names with ANYONE for ANY REASON.  You can feel safe with what you share with us.)  Also note that these statistics represent blog hits only, not counting iRBF.
