New In The Darkness Uploaded!
October 13, 2008
Read the title, Joel and I (Zak), mastered and uploaded the new In The Darkness Demo today after working on it on MY MacBook Pro. Sections have been removed due to mixing issues, such as the electric guitar solo, and we’ve equalized some parts so that they don’t hurt your ears.
Yay.
Go listen to it on www.irbf.tk

Quote of the Week
March 31, 2008
“Music = Life”
Music is my life. If I didn’t have music, I don’t know what I would do with myself. However, God is also my life. I guess when you’re a PK (Pastor’s Kid) you have to at least pretend to love God. Unlike some PK’s I really do love God. The Refined by Fire Project is where my love of God meets my love of music.
Stay tuned for more music in the coming weeks from RBF. We’ll have a recording from Sunday’s service up as soon as it happens along with some new demos later in April.

Yay, More New Music
March 19, 2008
Hey Everyone,
We just posted a demo of our new song “A Perfect End” on the main page of our website. This demo includes the intro and ending of the song. The next version will also feature a guitar solo, verses (with lyrics), and a bass part.
If you’re wondering what to classify our band’s genre as, just call it AcousticJazzMetal or AJM for short (Thanks to our fan Chris for naming the genre for us).
