Weekend Update Friday

It’s that time of the week again!  WEEKEND UPDATE FRIDAY!

• THIS JUST IN: The Refined by Fire Project will be traveling to the RBFmedia Studios this Saturday for a practice and a possible recording session.  Live updates will be available on our twitter feed which can be found at www.irbf.tk
• Designs are being drafted for the T-Shirts and we are getting the store ready.  You can expect a release in time for Christmas shopping.  We may or may not have these shirts available during the tour.  MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE T-SHIRT DESIGN IS COMING TOMORROW.
• You too can help RBF increase our fan base!  Sign up for our street team at iRBF and tell all your friends about RBF and help get us to tour in your area!
• We are actively scheduling gigs for our Winter tour in Western Pennsylvania.  One gig has been finalized for February.  More are coming soon.  Complete schedule at iRBF

Promotion: Generating Web Traffic

Well, we’re not going to come out and say that we’ve got everything figured out, but we will say that RBFmedia and it’s projects have had a pretty successful web presence so far.  We recently got up to about 20 hits per day total around the network.  For a small startup, that’s not bad!  However, without trying to expand our web presence, we’re not fulfilling the great commission!

We recently stumbled onto something that may help us increase our web presence: AlphaInventions.  The premise is simple.  You submit your blog, people go to AlphaInventions, and they watch a rotation of blogs.  So far, it has been pretty sucessful.  With just a week of using the service, we’ve gotten upwards of 100 hits per day over at The Refined by Fire Project.  We’re going to test out the service, and see if people who have seen our blog at AlphaInventions come back later.

Weekend Update Friday

It’s that time of the week again!  WEEKEND UPDATE FRIDAY!

• How often do you read our blog?  Vote in this week’s poll!
• November’s Visitor Statistics have been one for the history books here at RBF.  We have so far reached a record of 1000 hits this month alone! Our totals now reach over 2,300 since June 2008, 92 posts, 45 comments, and our busiest day was 508 hits on Sunday, November 16, 2008!  Thank you to our promotional team and the RBFmedia Studios for making this happen.  We’re setting our sights even higher for December and 2009!  ReverbNation currently shows 36 registered fans.  Make sure you’re counted!  Head over to iRBF to sign up for our mailing list and make your status as a fan known. (NOTE: We do not share gathered emails or names with ANYONE for ANY REASON.  You can feel safe with what you share with us.)  Also note that these statistics represent blog hits only, not counting iRBF.

RBF NEEDS YOUR HELP!

The Refined by Fire Project needs your help in order to make our upcoming single a success!  We will be organizing our street teams soon so that you have a constructive way to promote our music.  If you are interested in helping by being a street team member, enter your email in the form at the bottom of the iRBF main page and select “Join Street Team” and click submit.  You will then be connected with your regional promotional manager, or we will ask you to consider joining our elite crew of RPM’s (you can, of course choose not to accept if you wish)!  By joining the street team, you will have access to promotional tools and you will also receive special deals on our releases and be the first to find out about them.  As a street team member, you will also help promote our regional tours and performances in your area.  As a RPM, you will also have the opportunity to help organize these events!
